We are an independent family-owned group of opticians, now with a third generation family member on the team. We have four practices in Essex and one in London's Docklands. For over fifty years we have been providing family eye care and a wide range of optical services, catering to all sections of the community.

Contact Lenses

If you are interested in wearing contact lenses, we will offer you an appointment for a consultation/fitting. This will usually be longer than a routine appointment, as the optometrist will want to discuss with you which types of contact lens would be most likely to suit your needs.

Standard Eye Examination

This is the core of our clinical services, and we take great pride in the skill and experience of our highly qualified optometrists, who will carry out some or all of the following. If you are bringing a child for an eye examination, especially for the first time, we will probably ask you about any family history of eye problems, together with details of any problems during pregnancy and birth, as these can often be important clues as to any eye problems we may find.
